Smart Reporting was founded by Wieland Sommer, Professor for Radiology and Master in Public Health, in Munich in 2014. The company's vision is to use the value of data generated in medicine to optimize decision making and treatment for a best possible outcome in patients. Today the company incorporates a worldwide interdisciplinary team of physicians and software engineers who are dedicated to developing and constantly improving software based on a deep understanding of clinical workflows. Its multilingual, cloud-based structured reporting software for radiology and pathology is already used by more than 10,000 physicians in over 90 countries.
